Happy awesomely super duper belated (1.5 months later) birthday to this old classmate of mine!!

Single, but unsure about her availability status. LOL

Finally, met up with her after a long delay but who says we need to meet every single day, right? This kind of close-knitted friendship doesn't need to meet up everyday, you know we always have this space in each other's hearts. That's all it matters. Moreover, we always have tons of things to talk about despite not meeting up often, there wouldn't be much awkwardness at all... Best feeling in the world.

The objective of yesterday's meetup was to bring her around and indulge in the food, people always rave about. LOL not sure what does she normally eat. Perhaps, Jai Thai... Since she used to work near there, and she always checks in at Jai Thai for lunch which surprisingly, I haven't get to try the thai food there. I am not fated with Jai Thai, I swear... It's either closed or not opened yet, otherwise... It would be the adverse bad weather with heavy downpour which deters us from walking there.

So, this girl had not tried All-Day Breakfast at Wild Honey before (HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!?!) and then, the Shiok Maki at Koh Grill & Sushi Bar. It's always better to make reservation, especially on weekends, better be safe than sorry. I made the reservation on Thursday via the app, "Chope" which is super convenient but only available for certain restaurants, & eateries.

Before meeting up with her (& Shini who arrived late. RAGE), I proceeded to the Pandora outlet at Ion to get her birthday present. Seriously, all Pandora outlets are always being plagued by so many patronizers, and a lot of charms at the Ion outlet are all OOS. I was pretty dumbfounded when one of the customers asked for the stocks for about AT LEAST 5 different charms, it was all OOS. None of the charms she enquired is available, not sure she is just unlucky or what. I overheard (she was just beside me) and I literally smiled to myself, cos it's a little ridiculous. Not even 1 of the 5 she requested has stocks LOL seriously. 

 Again, I was not that LUCKY either... Since the first charm I requested, the Eiffel Tower, is also OOS. I tried my luck again, with Big Ben, & the Statue of Liberty... Alas, There is stock for the Statue of Liberty and I THINK it is the last one since the saleswoman had a little trouble when finding it for me lol.

There is only one cash register as well... I had to wait for the previous customer to be done with her purchase since the system is all keyed in with her items... Saleswoman has to close the sales that's currently on the system then she can proceed to close another sales. Oh well, I am pretty used to waiting for hours in recent weeks. For hours, I meant, it's all waiting alone for at least 2 hours. My patience has really improved by A LOT. I couldn't even wait for 30 mins last time but it then extended to 45mins - 1 hour, now... I can easily wait up to at least 2 hours. Read: AT LEAST.

Please people, now you all CANNOT say I am impatient anymore. Recent incidents all had proven that I can wait for hours, ALONE. Case closed.

Thank goodness, I still made it in time after getting the birthday present and walked over to the Wild Honey at Scott Square. I almost lost my way there, for the fact that I seldom patronize at Scott Square, and only had been there once... For Wild Honey too (cos only the outlet there can make reservation lol). I have superb memory, when comes to anything except academic related stuffs. My memory didn't fail me and I arrived at the destination, 3pm sharp. #pleaseclapforme

Shortly after, PCZX arrived, she sat down so abruptly, kinda stunned me. She's so skinny, like literally... Bones and skins. She said must be the all the stress from work, and I think I also need to work for some insurance company so that I can slim down easily hahahaha.

I Love New York

She had this New York Breakfast which consists of scrambled eggs with salmon, bagel, cream cheese (?), and 2 rosy red small tomatoes. Such a coincidence that... I chose Statue of Liberty as her birthday present as well, all the New York, States, related stuffs.

My Usual.

English Breakfast

Bacons, sausage, roasted half tomato & potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, scrambled eggs, toasts, and the broad bean tomato sauce (or whatever it is called). This platter is so huge, I always can't finish it but don't worry... I have Shini with me ALL THE TIME hahaha.

Shini finally got her ass with us when it was already 330pm, she ordered Morocco Chicken Pie (which I initially was contemplating for that main or hungover sandwiches but chose English in the end). The Morocco Chicken Pie looked pretty mediocre to me, it wasn't IG worthy, just a normal looking pie and a side of garden salad which is all greens and nothing. It looked like a pile of grass to me so, there's no picture for her food lolol but here's a picture of her though:

Hi, she is Shini.

We actually only met up at 3pm (I had my breakfast at about 9am) then late lunch at 330pm, before we moved off to stroll around in town. I guess I am the only one who already shopped quite a fair bit for my CNY clothings, I started buying last December, and keep it somewhere in the wardrobe to prepare for CNY. You can't wait until the last minute to do all these CNY purchases, there won't be THAT many nice designs left. Poor little Shini, she was the only one who doesn't have any new clothes at all, we all then accompanied her to look around.

It's really a bad move to step into town during the weekend, even on a Friday, it won't be as crowded, rather... Pretty empty. The crowd on a Saturday is beyond my imagination, Chay & I would wait outside the blogshops at FEP as Shini went in to take a look LOL the space is so small and confined... In the end, she went home empty-handed actually LOL wtf, stupid girl.

Oh, no... She actually bought a sports bra & swimming goggles for herself, I WAS THE ONE who helped her to get such good deals. OBSERVANT is me, next time you guys can just ask me to accompany you for shopping already. The goggles she saw are all 22$ and above, but I managed to find one that's $18.90, same brand and then, found the Adidas sports bra at $39 for her too. I realized, she didn't really thank me about it but asking,"HOW COME I DIDN'T SEE THE GOGGLES AT 18.90$ ONE???" bitch please. Open your eyes and be more observant next time. HEHE

I think, she spent at least 10mins in the fitting room to try her stupid sports bra, which made us queued an hour outside Koh Grill & Sushi Bar for dinner... The queue was so long, we were all dumbstruck but it's all worth the wait since Chay said the Shiok Maki is shiok. Mission accomplished!

Zhelin said IT WAS BETTER THAN SHIOK MAKI but we begged to differ... Chay only had 1 piece and she said she doesn't really like the sauce cos it is made of century eggs...

Shini ordered a mini Cha Soba, whereas Chay had some ramen. We ordered 3 sets of Maki, 2 Shiok, 1 Pitan, and also a set of 5 pieces Gyoza. LOL, I would only go back if I crave for the Shiok Maki, the sauce is so nice, with the fire torch flaming burnt taste and the salmon is so smooth...
