SPA annual sea event!
Same destination but with different peeps, it still successfully made an awesome expedition. Looking at how juniors have progressed, it brings a smile on your face. Good job to all committee members who made it possible for all of us, especially when I witnessed the enthusiasm pouring out from the Upgraders. This is when you know every single one of them had enjoyed this trip! Thanks for inviting the alumnus over and spent a great weekend with you guys! :D

Vroom vroom, out to the sea!
Weather was exceptionally KIND to us, it was too awesomely kind that it didn't rain at all for the weekend despite the raining for the whole week already. I'm so overly-kissed by the sun and aching so badly right now. Fibreglass + Sunburnt = worst combination ever. Who the hell woke up in the middle of the night to apply moisturizer on the skin?! The stinging sensation woke me up, no kidding.

Day 1, boat handler!
Early in the morning, Shini cabbed over to my house and we proceeded on our journey to PM. We were the first alumnus to reach, SO PUNCTUAL. HAHA. Shortly after, everyone started to arrive, packing and loading stuffs up the boats, briefing and warming up took place before the launching of expedition.

Chauffeur, breakfast.
Halfway through, few of us (Nicholas, Weiloon & me) went off to pick Eugene at prata shop before heading back to West Coast McDonald's to get our breakfast! This short journey could make you laugh like there's no tomorrow, talking nonsense and commenting on something they find it hard to accept. INSIDE JOKE.

Back to PM, ready to launch!
Smooth-sailing (kayaking) journey from PM to Pulau Hantu. Current was good, everyone reached the destination few hours earlier than expected! Some commotions here and there but it's all covered rather well. No major problems and juniors know what were they doing so, it was a well-organised first day trip there. :)

Pulau Hantu, here we are!
Everyone started doing their own stuffs, unpacking, munching on snacks, playing slack-line, Saboteur, roaming around, picking saga seeds, & preparing for dinner. They were insane when playing Saboteur, their excitement could engulf anyone who walked past them. FUNNIEST CONVERSATION EVER, when Felicia and me headed to find Shini who was collecting the seeds. You must look at how Felicia conversed with Shini, I swear I almost died from laughing!

Time passed, so it's time for dinner.
BBQ, fried rice, packet drinks, whatever you name it, we have it (for BBQ). Too much food but in the end, the guys finished it after a game of secret code. Whoever mentioned the LUCKY number would have to eat the leftovers. It was fun, bbq-ed food kept coming in, thanks to those who helped to bbq! :>

It's time to sleeeep, for day 1!
Tying hammock could be such a comedy and the night was rather peaceful for me. Temperature was all good, not too cold nor was it too hot. I wore singlet and didn't bring any windbreaker, & I'm glad the temperature at night showed some mercy to me. NO SANDFLY BITES EITHER, AWESOME NIGHT.

Day 2 arrived, time to wake up!
JIAYAO'S VOICE WAS SO DAMN LOUD THAT IT WOKE SHINI, FELICIA AND ME UP BEFORE 7.30AM. LOL, partly because nature's calling me. I NEED THE TOILET but Shini made me waited for her to keep her hammock before I could relieve myself. OMG. Disastrous, urgent max already still need to wait but yea, I was still able to bear it.

Breakfast was awesome.
The wrap was nice and pancakes were all nicely-cooked by Ex-President, Mr Lee Jia Yao. I did spend my whole morning helping to cut the ingredients before having a game of frisbee in army stuffs with Nicholas & Weiloon. Seriously, exercised every inch of my muscles. Failed to catch the frisbee or didn't throw it properly = 2 push up for each mistake. Yup, undoubtedly, I was the one who hit 20 push-ups first. LOL, I don't always play frisbee, okie.. Weiloon is nice enough to share half my 20 push-ups. It ended up, Weiloon did 28, Nicholas did 10 and I did 10 too.

Time to paddle backkk!
I'm glad I partnered with Nicholas. Whoa, seriously, when he paddles fast, you can feel the sudden boost of speed. Funny as it is, he asked me if I can feel the wind or not, cos he thought by kayaking fast, I could feel the wind but... I didn't. LOL. Maybe it wasn't fast enough but nonetheless, sea war was tiring. RACING TO OTHER KAYAKS REALLY... Almost drain away my energy but my energy depleted like there's no tomorrow when...

WE SWAPPED SEATS.
Paddling at the back using the Explorer was totally taking a toll on me. I couldn't maneuver the kayak! It was so difficult, I could even see my whole kayak going from left to right, right to left. In a zigzag way and my arms were pumped up in just a few meters after changing the seats. HAHA, from powerboat to a sampan and then, we swapped back otherwise we would take 2 hours to reach PM.

Awesome partner there.
HAHA, Nicholas was gentleman enough to also help me cover the sun with the paddle blade. The sun was merciless shinning at us man, no joke. My lower lip is slightly swollen! It's really that bad man. He did ferry me for awhile and asked me to rest if I need it. Now, sunblock is essential, with rashguard, shades, buff and cap. Omg, it's insane.. Anyway, great partner because he sent us home too. HAHA, thanks to Shini, who looked so extremely tired, triggered his kindness and sent us home instead to nearest MRT station. :D

Alright, time to end the post.
SIKE 1112 was an awesome trip but the burns and fibreglass on my skin are insanely pain. Time to put this aside and repack my mood for a hardworking NJ to conquer the leftover MKTG Project which is due on Thursday! Mad rush mad rush!

Good day, everyone!

Xx,
NJ!
