Night Cycling 2011
School was hectic.
Semester is coming to an end, reports & assignments were all due this week. Project madness - Something that I even dreamt of it at night. Endless of researching & editing, with everyone's hardwork together, we had successfully handed in our report on Thursday! Finally, a heavy load off our shoulders but it's just the beginning...
Thursday, done with report!
A day which I could hang out with ease, an impromptu trip out with my funny friend whom I'm always a disappointment to him!! Anyhow, we caught Friends with Benefit and we were late for 5 - 10mins because of the walking journey and taking escalator up to the theatre! Empty stomach for the movie and I swear I was THAT hungry after movie which ended at 9.30pm?
Upper Thomson Road!
Yup, everywhere else in Woodlands was wrapping up for the night already so we headed to Upper Thomson for dinner. We had BAK CHOR MEE at the Meng Kitchen with a girl passing by us, complimenting, "The bar chor mee here is Number 1!" or something along that line but actually, it's normal noodles. She overrated it. Oh, dinner wasn't simple when my purse was being ransacked. Unglamorous I.D photos were out to disgrace me, totally no image at all already.
SALTED CARAMEL.
Few shops away... We had Ice Cream from Salted Caramel! The last scoop of salted caramel was swimming in my tummy! Not bad, something I would love to have again when time comes! & nah, we didn't have it at the shop but we took back to the car and savour each and every spoonful of it (Okay, I'm exaggerating.. but it's nice)
Kinda guilty...
Yes yes, after eating, I went to bin it in the rubbish bin at the ROADSIDE but I felt bad about it. There wasn't any garbage bag but just the bin. After throwing it in, I realised it was the bin for the landed property there so... I guess the whole bin would be infested by ants the next morning. I'm sorry about it, I really do!
Home sweeeet home.
Hahaha, glad and grateful that I wasn't being dropped at Bukit Batok MRT station or anywhere near Thomson Road. It's either I'm gonna be missing (navigation fails) or I would need to cab home. Lesson learnt, must know how to talk and what to say if I wanna get home safely & I know the types of ranking in army already. Okay, not all but I still remember a few maybe no longer in sequence anymore 'cos it's really a lot!
Friday! TGYMIF.
Oh well, lesson in the moraining at 830pm. I thought I would be late since it was raining quite heavily but guess what? I caught my bus in time and was 15mins EARLY for school. Not a bad day to start off but I swear, the tiredness almost consumed me. Heading back home after school was all I looking forward to, couldn't wait to concuss straight at home!
Good day, lecture ended 15mins early?
Back home before 1230pm but only napped two hours before a long night ahead... Yup, SIM ODAC Night Cycling! We were late for the event but the trip only commenced at12am but being in the last wave kinda sucks. We only started off at 1230 but we were at ECP since 930pm! I spent most of the night waiting and waiting.
Long distance?
I've no idea, it wasn't the distance that made me so tired but because of the long night and hours of waiting. I spent 7hours cycling, set off at 1230am from ECP and got back there in the morning at 730 too. I guess we spent an hour at the prata shop which I fell asleep there. Maybe the event was too big, approx. 30 participants/group. 5 waves in total which means... It consisted of 150 of students? Well, it clearly explains why the hours spent waiting and waiting.
Finally, back to ECP.
Totally shagged out, concussed in the bus when on the way home but only slept at 10am+ after bathing and washing up my stuffs. Sleep is desperately needed, slept all the way until 7.30pm before I had something light for dinner, bathed and continued sleeping at 11.30pm. Seriously, I don't feel good at all, it's like my face is allergic to the dirty helmet. The strap made my neck itches and has burning sensation up till now. My whole face is really turning from worse to worst. :/ I hope it gets better tomorrow!
RAINING HEAVILY...
In the middle of the night, at ungodly hours. I didn't notice it until I received a SMS from my friend telling me that it was raining heavily, asking me to take care and sleep tight. Hahaha, cute, right? I was already asleep but have to take care while sleeping. Get what I mean? The C&C is up there with a pinch of funniness/cuteness. Light sleeper am I, thus I replied the SMS and yes, while replying, I thought there was somebody taking photo of me. Damn it, the lightning was REALLY BRIGHT & the thunder was so loud that it could compete with 100 speakers blasting at the same time.
Back to dreamland!
When one replied me,"PS do not reply!". Clear cut message, back to sleep until my alarm rang at 730am but accidentally switched it off until my mom gave me a morning call at 8am. I'm glad she called otherwise, I wouldn't be back in Malaysia for the weekend!
Grouchy Morning.
First, I woke up with a pair of slightly puffy eyes. I blame the night cycling and the allergy on my whole face + neck. Next, I forgot to bring back my Blackberry charger & for no apparent reason, my battery is draining like there's no tomorrow. Then, I stood up, waiting for 950 to stop at the bus stop but it drove past me. GREAT morning.
Back in Truly Asia!
Mom & Dad came and pick me up at custom before having the awesome bak kut teh breakfast together! This is the first time, I sat in the car, WITH DAD listening to 91.3FM. HAHAHA, he deems that those pop English songs are noisy and only drown himself in 97.2 or 9.58FM but I heard from my mom that sometimes, new Mandarin pop songs also irk dad nowadays. It's funny when mom trying to rebut him as I was changing the music station by saying,"You listen to English songs?" HAHA, guess what my dad did? He purposely tuned up the volume for me! Funniest parents ever. (:
Finally, back home.
I laid on the bed and fell asleep shortly after. I was still that tired and my face, neck + eyes are not helping either. They irritate me so much that I just feel like sleeping the feeling away but it's getting better already... I HOPE. :/
Alright, people!
I need to bathe before catching the Unnatural on Channel 5! It looks nice from the advertisement and it's from true stories! Despite the fact that I don't watch TV that often but as long as I'm back in Malaysia, TV has never really leave my sight. HAHAHA.
Goooodnight, lovelies!
