Busan - Day 2

December 06, 2013

Along the corridor at our Popcorn Hostel!

All set, and ready to go!

The alley we used to take everyday.

"Give me a moment!!"

"Alright, protected from the chilly weather!"

Bakery cafes are everywhere in South Korea.

 Just a random shot.

I had been eyeing this Korean chicken since the 1st day..
(& the owner in orange asked me to go in to show him the photos I took of his shop, chicken, and his brother together with him... Then he struck a convo with me, saying that I am resembling his brother's girlfriend who is sweet and beautiful. HAHAHA I just laughed it off, too shy!!!)

REMEMBER TO GIVE IT A TRY WHEN YOU'RE AT BUSAN.

While waiting for our Spicy Chicky to be ready...

FRESH, FIRST BATCH OF THE DAY.

Topped with black & white sesame seeds, and the gua zi.

The sticky spicy sauce diffuses a super awesome aroma...
It's spicy yet slightly stickily sweet, crispy on the outside, and the meat is so tender as you chew on it. I SWEAR TO GOD, IT'S WAY BETTER THAN THE... KYOCHON CHICKEN which people are raving about. Endorsed by Super Junior if I'm not wrong but it's not the type that I would try again. Pretty mediocre.

 South Korea's T-Money
It's similar to Singapore's EZ-Link card, and I must say the transportation in South Korea is ain't cheap.

Top-up machines but not for T-Money card though.

BUT... The dumb us, thought it could be used for T-Money.

The crowded train in the morning...
The seats are super compact compared to the ones in Singapore.

We took the subway to Busan Train Station, to get our KTX tickets for Seoul.
One of the exits we had to take when we alight at the station.

A few minutes walk, and here we are!

 Army boys in green.

 Tickets counter.

Checking out the daily schedule for the trains to Seoul.

Done with the purchasing for KTX tickets and off we go to our next destination!

Let me show you a shot of my backpack buddy.

 Out from the Station!

An area outside the station with a family bonded statue.

The bus-stop we had to board our bus to Taejongdae Resort Park!

Yup, this is their bus, and it's so small.

 Little Korean Kid!

Almost an hour & we are finally here.
(We took the detour route... We should have boarded the bus from the opposite side hahaha)

 Tram Terminal
Taking the tram is the easier way to get to the highest point of the park I think...

Our 8000krw worth of chicky, it became her afternoon high-tea snack hahaha.

The tram tickets at 1500 krw each!

 Mirror?
Picture!

Some temple... Which is kinda deserted.

 Now it's my turn!

A pretty good place for blogshop photoshoot actually!

Stairs leading to no idea where.
(We didn't go all the way up cos it was pretty quiet back then)

So we took photo at the stairs instead!!!
We alight at some place from the tram then we walked down instead.
This also means, we get to take photos as we stroll!

 Preview of the autumn leaves!

& then, there is some lighthouse at the bottom of the park!

 Gonna start exploring!!!

The weather near the sea was super chilly with the wind like seriously omgz.

I've no idea who are them and the descriptions are all in Korean.
(Probably, the only bad thing about South Korea... Most of the descriptions are in Korean)

We walked further down to some rocky place.

HEHE, instax makes really good photos!

Done with the day in Taejongdae Resort Park, and so...
We continued walking out from there to have our dinner!

Why my friend so cute, I've uploaded a super funny video on Facebook.
These few are the snapshots while recording the video hahaha!

She wanna act one Charlie Chaplin.

 HAHAHA

It looks like Japan here lol

She must be feeling hungry, thus the frail smile.

Pondering over something...
Probably... "What's for dinner? :("

Then, we came out and took the bus back to the city.
SOCKS, like super many choices with different designs...
She got herself one with the Korean Maggie Brand hahaha.

Strolling along the alleys, trying to scout for food!

 The festival of the month.
Busan International Film Festival.

We got into this shop, I love the food!

 You see the beancurd skin?
The one which looks similar to Japanese's Inari Sushi??
The skin here is filled with erm, some Vermicelli.. Super chewy & tangy!!

AND I SUPER LOVE THE SPICY HOT SAUCE.
LIKE REALLY. OMG.

& then more walking... To digest our dinner.

 A slow-shutter night shot.
I placed my camera on the ledge!

Oh, before we headed back to our hostel, we walked to Busan Tower!

Exterior view of the place.
We went into the tower at 4000krw each.
The photos taken are not magnificent so I'm not posting any!

As we were walking out, the lighting effect, together with the tree..
& the guy seated there, I thought it would make a pretty good photo.

BUT WHY. WHY YOU (THE GUY) HAD TO MOVE YOUR HEAD?!?!?!
Haha, this is the best night shot I could take because I didn't use my tripod so actually, I stabilized the camera only with my hand!! It turned out to be quite good already, okay... MAI HIAM BUAY PAI LA.

 & more walking...
(Colourful paper lanterns hung outside a temple!)
Before we got our frozen asses back to the subway station!

This is me.
Totally shagged.

EVERYDAY IN SOUTH KOREA WAS REALLY ENERGY-DRAINING.

Great weekend ahead, guys!
I've the Illumi Run tomorrow, I BET IT IS GONNA BE SO SO AWESOME POSSUM OMG CAN'T WAIT BECAUSE MY LIFE HASN'T BEEN REALLY GOOD LATE... SINCE I AM JOBLESS NOW THAT I'VE GRADUATED BUT... SCREW THE FUTURE, JUST ENJOY THE MOMENT.

Goodnight!
