Brief update!
Yes, I should be doing projects & my journals but seriously, procrastination has gotten the upper hand of me... But hey... I woke up in the morn to settle all domestic stuffs man. FYI, my parents & my aunt who's residing with us, just flew to Turkey, & South Korea respectively. Hence, it explains all the household chores I've gotta do... Sometimes, such domestic affairs responsibilities would lie in the hands of the female in the house. Yup, that's me. That's okay, it means I could flaunt the good housewife/mother materials I acquired or maybe, learning in progress... JUST KIDDING but seriously, I woke up to do the laundry, cooked my own breakfast, washed all the stuffs in the sink, folded the laundry, helping to find some company document at home but apparently, it couldn't be found.
My brother is at home, sleeping now. He works night shift for this week so... Relying on him to complete all these chores is just sort of near impossible. It's nothing much actually, just some minor cleaning up for the house, nothing tough to accomplish too. Anyhow, I don't rely my brothers to help me get things done, at the end of the day, it's still the best option to rely on yourself.
So, let's backtrack to last week.
Not a fan of remembering my own mundane life but I recalled about this weekly run on every Thursday, & that Thursday, it was with my soul, a.k.a Cynthia Neo. We are trying to explore all the routes possible for jogging (mainly, all would be planned by Cynthia since I really suck in navigation) and yes, we had a short run of 5.8km from SP to the Dover canal(?), the canal which is behind Dover MRT where landed properties are seen.
Another fact of us.
We always TALK THROUGHOUT our run, like seriously, non-stop chattering, topic varies from properties to cars to everyday lives of ours. We literally ran and chatted through this 5.8km, and guess what? Amazing, we clocked only 29mins or so (definitely less than 30mins) for the 5km mark. Not something that's so good to flaunt about but for the sake of talking throughout the run, it's quite an accomplishment, no? It was definitely an accomplishment for us, like we didn't really expect it, or maybe I didn't expect it hahaha cos the weather was kinda hot & humid, you could feel the intense heat from the sun, each step taken seemed to be brisk-walking for some...
Holland Village for dinner!
After the run, we chilled at SP FC 5 before heading for a shower and I would like to apologize to anyone who sat at our table after we left lol gross as it sounds, our sweats was insane, visible droplets of sweat on the table and my seat, it looked as though someone just used a wet tissue or towel to wipe on it lolol my tights and shorts were all soaked with my perspiration. I'm truly apologetic about it but whatever man, you would also need to bathe when you get home, right... LOL
Oh, yes, claypot rice at Block 44, Holland V.
Recommended by many but when we got there, block 44 is under renovation... We didn't get to have the famous claypot rice so we walked to Lorong Liput that area, or Mambong or whatever the street is with all the eateries, bars, that people always hangout at night. The famous Holland V street which everyone should know so yup, we walked there and decided to settle our dinner at the Wala Wala Cafe Bar! The grilled chicken boneless thigh and grilled fish with some white wine sauce or something are actually quite palatable! Oh, we wanted to try their famous chicken wings but thankfully, we didn't order otherwise, we couldn't finish it! I will try it again, just for the wings! Life is too short to diet man, we will die as years come back anyway!
Hungry Soul & I!
Shot taken while waiting for our mains to come!
Fast forward to Monday!
As usual, there was school on Monday. Yup, lecture at 830am and I thought I was gonna be late but things always happen when it's least expected... In fact, I was still 5 minutes early but didn't really have the time to head up to the canteen and get my nutrisoy though. I was feeling really lethargic that day, simply because... I slept late the night before and hence, the severe deprivation of sleep. Yes, falling asleep in lecture was the next inevitable activity occurred but the lecture hall is just suck to be dozing off in. You can't find a comfortable position to sleep at all so I must say, actually I was only resting my eyes by just shutting it for a couple of minutes.
School was over & I met up with Shini.
Before that, my uni friend, Daryl, just given me my first birthday present! This novel is said to be inspiring so... I shall read it soon & hopefully, it could inspire me, so I won't be wasting my life away meaninglessly. Thank you, Daryl! Also, for wrapping the book already hahaha. Free wrapping service, and the birthday card with the well wishes. (:
P/S: I always look good.
P/S/S: LOL and I don't even look 22.
Yes yes, met up with Shini.
I really fully utilized my Monday because it was the last day my parents would be at home to send me to custom or pick me up! So, before this luxury of getting chauffeured around comes to a halt, I shall make full use of my Monday! Basically, we just headed to town for a movie and some shopping. Shini wanted to eat the thai food at Orchard Tower and guess what? It only opens at 630pm... We walked all the way there to find out this, I almost strangled her................. Kidding but really, she said she thought it was open at 630 in the MORNING like hello, who the hell eat thai food zichar in the morning before the sun rises?!?!?!?! In the end, we settled lunch at Ion instead.
Food paradise is always at the basement of all malls so...
Shini queued for 4 fingers as desserts lolol. Judging from the way and body language she had shown, I would like to deduce that... She was quite pleased with the wings, especially when she chomping down the spicy wings. I guess, it was really delicate? It looks like the crispy wings from Pizzahut to me though, maybe next time I shall try the burger, definitely rocking it when I saw it on the menu.
Ohhhhhh, so I was hunting for some pants/jeans.
Uniqlo has really cheap skinny fit jeans man, at S$19.90 but I ended up buying this... Jeggings or whatever it is called. I just needed a black jeans actually, so I ended up getting this:
Actually, I really hate my legs.
I'm just obsessed with model's legs which I can't have.
Then, more window shopping.
As in, trying clothes also no need to pay... Just try and see if they look good on you lol. We went to Stradivarius and take a look at their stuffs. I saw this dress but apparently it didn't look good on me. The top part was kinda loose and I look ultimately short in it man. It makes me look so kiddy but on the other hand, everyone thinks that I look only 18. The surveyor outside Cineleisure thought we were going to be 18 this year and my mom's friends all didn't expect me to be 22 soon. No idea if it's a good or bad thing, but also... Partly because I don't put on any makeup at all, LOL NATURAL BEAUTY FTW PLEASE.
Just kidding but if you rely on makeup, you will really look like shit when you remove it. You will look totally restless/zombiefied/ a whole new person. HAHA okay, it might not happen to all but most of them I suppose. Alright alright, I'm also lazy to wake up early just to doll-up, I'd rather be catching some more winks instead man but I do wear makeup when I've events to attend to.
Front view of the dress:
You wondered why the top part is loose...
This is the reason why:
Maybe...
I should train to have broader shoulders.
AND WHEN WILL MY FRINGE BE LONG ENOUGH TO BE SWEPT TO THE SIDE?! TOTALLY REGRETTED CUTTING BANGS THE OTHER TIME, IT'S BEEN TWO MONTHS ALREADY MANNN, MY HAIR USED TO GROW DAMN FREAKING FAST BUT NOW, IT'S TAKING SO LONG. WHY ARE YOU TROLLING ON MEEEEEE but anyhow, time to start doing my projects...
Good mid-week, y'all!!
xx
