Diary Farm. Kayaking. Ikea Meatballz!

January 03, 2012

Aloha!

It was an awesome day just yesterday.
Despite waking up late because my dumb Blackberry died on me and the alarm didn't get to ring so I jumped up from bed when my mom came in to wake me up, claiming that it's already 7.30am. Guess whattt, it was only 7.18am man! All mothers like to exaggerate the timing and make you rush but oh well, I was indeed 18mins behind time.

Not bathing? No way!
I couldn't afford to go out Singapore without bathing so nonetheless, I still showered, even had a few minutes spare to pack my bag before heading off to Malaysia custom. Anyhow, thank goodness there was bus 170 (Queens Street) for me right after I cleared my passport and hopped onto the bus with Shini, on our way to Diary Farm!

What a surprise!
Just then, after alighting at our destination and random me started feeling my teeth with my tongue and finally... I found the tooth which had a part chipped off. Damn it, it was real! Sigh, the night before, I was munching & grinding on the cereals my mom bought and its texture was harder than those normal cornflakes I usually consume (Post - Blueberry Morning). Yes, after a few mouthful, suddenly I chewed something as hard as a stone and immediately, I spitted out to take a look at it.

Oh no... It can't be real.
First look, I swear it looked like a chipped part of a tooth and then, I went to the toilet to investigate it, looking through my teeth, trying to feel them w my tongue and what's not. Worst part of all, before I could show it to my mom, I dropped it onto the floor and couldn't find it so I gave up after realizing that none of my tooth has been chipped off...

Yes, to my horror...
Hahahaha it was really my tooth!! It's the last second tooth on the bottom of my right. Oh well, what a surprising morning and I told my mom at night when she came and picked me up from custom. Time to visit dentist real soon and get it fixed!

Diary Farmmmm!
We made it in time... Alright, probably 5 - 10mins late but hey, we were the 2nd one to reach! Fauzi was the first to arrive and waited alone for the rest. Runners were with me, so practically, I got there to pass them the runners used for lead climbing and chilled for awhile before heading off to PM with Shini & Edwin.

Prata Shop for breakfast!
Undoubtedly, we were all feeling hungry and breakfast is important! After reaching the terminal & instead of walking to PM straight, we stopped by the prata shop for breakfast. Plain & egg onion pratas, that's what I had while Shini had mee goreng and Edwin had Chicken murtabuk!

Back to Poly Marina.
After a month or so, we finally had awesome weather for some paddling action! It rained so much last month and I didn't bother to go kayaking until the recently sunny weather. Anyhow, there wasn't a single soul there, not even the security guard but main gate wasn't lock so we still managed to get in and lepak while waiting for the guard to be back! Yesss, it was the same Chinese uncle who was on duty and he offered us rambutan to eat while waiting for the technician to get the power supply back.

Oh yeaaaa, sunny weather with clear sea.
Paddling for a few laps before we all started to laze around the pontoon and talk cock sing song and LUAN LUAN HAN (only applicable to me). Oh, Edwin did some somersaults into the water before beaching up and he found fun in it despite doing it all alone... HAHA, #foreveralone!

Buttocks up! Off we goooo!
Ikea meatballz, practically, we headed to Ikea for our lunner (lunch + dinner) and expected, it was all packed with people! Lucky us, found seats in within 5mins and yay, Ikea pastas, meatballz, chicken wings, brownie, chocolate mousse, curry chicken for our meal! It was totaled up to S$44 for all these, their set meals were reasonably priced and we indeed ordered quite a number of food!

Even thought it was just the 3 of us,
but the companion was awesome! From tying of knots (ONLY US KNOW WHAT IS IT ABOUT) to choosing who and who if given a choice, disturbing me and asking me to give birth to 11 sons and from a football club to fight against Edwin's 11 sons, discussing about this and that. HAHA, it all sums up to total fun and also, I get to physically disturb Edwin as well which I'm used to anyway lol.

& that, marked the 2nd fulfilling day of 2012!
I hope everyday would be as fun-filling and happy!

Till then,
NJ.
