Labrador Park

A place with great sea view for a run.

& we didn't take any photos. DAMN.

Woke up exceptionally early for a Saturday just because I couldn't seem to sleep and this is bugging me since forever. I'm gonna just repeat it, I've got a scumbag mind which doesn't allow me, or spare me a night with good rest.

Then, I met up with the bitch at SP for a run at Labrador Park (more like a recce trip, though) and there was some ongoing Canoe Polo competition... Feast on the eyes, baby. JUST KIDDING hahahaha but guys look good tanned and toned.

Poor friend who got called back for the very last minute to cover up some duty for her colleague, didn't really sleep at all for the night before. Then again, that's what happened if you signed on to service the nation, right? HAHA please appreciate them for making the nation a little safer.

We finally made our way to Labrador Park and we were kind lost on getting there, asked some passerby and we got there eventually. At the same time, we were still somehow lost on getting to the lower ground where the sea view was but eagle-eyed friend, noticed the signboard "Coastal Pathway" and yay, we managed to jog along the pathway and damn, the sea view was breath-taking.

The water was so clear, it looked like a gradient color of crystal clear greenish-blue omg and it was a shame that we didn't bring our phone along! Never mind, that means we are gonna be back there for a run and some photos as well.

Somehow, the running route led us to Keppel Bay and yes, Sentosa Cove, the dock for the boats, the cafe at Keppel Bay. WE COULD HAVE BROUGHT OUR MONEY for some brunch at Prive but no, we were all under-prepared.

FYI, we took train to Labrador Park MRT Station and then, we got back to SP from the bus-stop opposite the Hawker Centre at Harbourfront. Hahahaha, yeah, we could have just jogged back to Woodlands to make it a 10km run but the sun at 12nn was as hot as I am.

Back to school for shower and headed to Star Vista for some Korean food at Born-ga. The food was alright but I wouldn't go back just for it. The service was... Mediocre and I judged it JUST BECAUSE OF ONE STAFF and we always just need only one staff to cultivate a pretty bad customer experience and kill the repeat patronization to the place.

After lunch, we got to Raffles City... Because we had too much time before dinner at Timbre. We ended up at Tiong Bahru Bakery at Raffles City and hahaha it was full of awkwardness.

My friend was asking for a table for two so the crew helped us to get a table (already being occupied by the 2 guys with their stuffs but they were gracious enough to share with us), and my friend asked me to take the sofa seat.

As soon as I was gonna sit on it, the guy beside me was informing me that the seat was stained with something, I guess it was... Chocolate cream or something. In my mind, I was like,"Oh, thank you and okay, no problem, I would wipe it off..." and I did say my thanks for informing me.

As I wanted to put down my bag and take the seat, avoiding that stained part, lololol, he actually helped me to wipe it away HAHAHA what a gentleman. I was a little embarrassed and repeatedly telling him,"it's okay! You don't have to!!! Thanks x5" hahahaha

Okay, my friend ordered some latte and a piece of crumble banana choco slice which tasted mediocre and looked so... Not appealing. No idea how, but we literally pigged out for the weekend and after the dessert, we went to Padang field and looked at the kids having their football competition.

HAHA, we came across a kid's jersey with the number "2" on it but LOL there was a hand-drawn "1" beside the pre-printed "2", using a black marker. I kept telling my friend he must be the only "1" to have that kinda jersey. So much puns, so hilarious at the same time hahahaha such a cute angmoh kid.

Timbre for dinner to kill the cravings for duck pizza which they forgotten about the order but claiming that they didn't receive the order placed by the iPad... Hmm... Anyhow, besides the delayed pizza, the band was DELAYED as well. They were supposed to start at 8.30pm but one of the guitarists was late... For an hour. Meh.

Listened only to a couple of songs (dedication couldn't be made via SMS 'cos their system was down as well) and went back home for an early (lolol before 1am) rest before waking up for a run again at MacRitchie!

MacRitchie Reservoir Park

We woke up... Not that early but did a quick run at MacRitchie before heading to Novena Square to collect our 2xu race pack... Which practically has nothing but the bib and running tee. I'm more looking forward to the finisher's tee and medal but of course, one more bib to collection!

Anyhow, I freaking kinda screwed my left foot but I didn't trip or fall. The side just hurts as I try to place my foot flat on the ground as I walk. In order to minimize the pain, I have to walk tip-toe now, on my left foot.

I hope it gets better 'cos... The half marathons are all coming...

Collected the race pack, moved on to 313 for Hai Di Lao and damn, LOL not sure what could have caused it, the innards we had (the bitch ordered it which I claimed, it wasn't fresh), or the chili, or whatever else, both of us ended up with some stomach upset few hours later.

I WAS PRAYING SO HARD THAT IT WON'T HAPPEN DURING THE MOVIE and yes, I'm glad it got better and no issue for me throughout the movie whereas my friend almost died HAHAHAHA but she slept in the movie so... Uhm?

Right before the movie, we chilled at the Starbucks and we got a free beverage cos of some ongoing promo. I didn't finish mine because of the screwed up stomach... Although it's free but...

I think, LOL this picture was taken before I feel any pain and omg we were both really in pain and are injured. She has all her muscle aches while.. I kinda pulled my arm muscles and a hurting left foot. Oh, not forgetting, the damned aches on the stomach.

Yes, that photo was saved from my snapchat and we caught Run The Night by Liam Neeson. It was like.. Taken but this time round, he was helping and saving his son. Not as nice as taken, just an average movie and I don't think there would be any sequel because, Liam Neeson died in the movie. Whoops, your movie has been spoiled.

Hmm, and... Right after the movie...

We had dinner at some Gyoza place at the food basement of Ion. NOTHING SPECIAL but just to fill up our stomach. You could go there for a quick fix 'cos it wasn't expensive at all.

I hope y'all had a great weekend!

Xx
