Aloha!

This will be a picture-less posts 'cos I foresee it's gonna take ages for them to get uploaded. The internet back here is lagging like some shit, I only can manage to refresh Facebook without any problem. It's like, loading a 7 minutes takes a couple of hours... Anyhow, once this month is over, connection will be back to normal. Sometimes, I'd just rely on my 3G to check emails and whatnot on my phone instead on the laptop already.

Rounding up this week...

Monday:

It was a BEACH... Road day. I met up with Shini in the morning after I settled my SingPass shit (for my PR permit online renewal) and returning the NLB interior designs books (borrowed to show Mom about some possible designs for new house) before heading down to Lavender! Weather was extremely hot that day and the Beach Road hawker... I've no idea what's the name, Golden Mile? It was crowded with people since it was lunchtime but we got seats right away. How luckyyyyy! Anyhow, I had the famous Lor Mee there but it tasted so-so only!!

Shopped around the army market but most of the shops are not opened on Monday! Something we didn't know but we got most of our equipment for Yushan (Taiwan) except for the backpack and, everyone in Beach Road (Stall tenders) seem to remember Shini really well... Maybe it's just some marketing technique, personal selling experience.

Day ended early at Beach Road so we headed to Orchard Ion for some soup at The Soup Spoon! Shopped a bit... At Daiso and window shopped at some outlets before heading home and it was a tiring day 'cos my legs were still aching from the 30km (+/-) xPhysique Urban Adventure Race.

Tuesday:

Supposedly, I had to attend Mom's friend's birthday lunch at Kinsahi (?), the buffet restaurant but last time they changed the lunch to 3pm... More like a high-tea buffet session and so, I headed to Singapore without any proper meal. Then, I rushed to Ion and got Royce' for BFF, Zhelin (for his MST morale boost) and Zaroq (for his poly grad!). Alright, watched Nikita on the train while heading to SP, waited for a few hours, took photos with Zaroq with his graduation robe, bought bento set and had dinner in SP with Shini before meeting Felicia and went to SIM for some Yushan R&R itinerary.

Unexpectedly, meeting was dragged until 10pm (which was the time I had to be at custom already) and... LOL, I almost got no transportation back 'cos my parents were already asleep. Thank goodness, my aunt woke my Mom up and she picked me from custom with black face.

Whole journey back home, she didn't utter any single word but few more meters to home, she asked me to pass the fees to the security guards and she actually seemed perfectly fine after that. LOL scared the hell outta me but everything was all good.

Wednesday:

I woke up, no idea what I did but bathed and headed to some flowers/plants decoration event. It's like, how you place the flowers, plants in the pots. We went because the chairman of the organization is my mom's friend. I swear the whole event was boring and I ended up playing temple run. I've got no passion and interest in such area and that, I don't even have green hands!

Finally, the demonstration was over and it was time for the Japanese cocktail reception. Guess what? The whole event was like OMGWTFBBQ. They placed the catering at somewhere so cramped. Everyone just stood there and the queue wasn't even moving... 'Cos, all the aunties were just cutting queues. WHAT THE SHIT, right!! Aunties, it's like TAI-TAIs, those rich and have nothing-to-do women who attended the pottery classes, and not really, market aunties man... Seriously... I was kinda pissed since hungry (wo)man is an angry (wo)man. The area at the back and other side were so much spacious but they just had to place the catering there...

On a better note, the sushi was good and the fresh cuts were really fresh. The salmon was pinkish-red and it tasted really fresh but I'm not a fan of raw food so... I only had a piece which was on my mom's friend's plate. LOL and that event was at KSL, a mall which people like us, won't wanna go. It's not like your typical malls in Singapore, 'cos the shops are like, more or manicure/pedicure parlor, hairdressing saloons, and the shops are some... Shops you've hardly seen them around.

Yes, stomach filled and while walking back to the carpark, my mom's friend bought me this ultimate big crepe. I got the strawberry chocolate one, the crepe was really crispy but then, it was so big, by the time you almost finish it, you would feel that everything just stuck at your throat...

Back home, chilled away in front of laptop and was discussing with Shini about your beachy trip! Initially, we were planning to go Redang Island but we couldn't find air tickets and suitable hotels so wanted to change to Tioman Island, then trying luck on Pangkor and finally Sibu Island. Guess what?

LOL, WE ENDED UP BUYING DEALS FROM GROUPON AND SETTLED TO GO TO PHUKET FOR 4D3N ON MONDAY.

So random and steady, right! Everything's just got confirmed today but it was so last minute that we had to add a little bit of money here and there. I hope it's still gonna be worth it... I just told my mom today, she was like,"Y U NO TELL ME?! I also wanna go leh." HAHA, she went Phuket last year already or earlier this year, can't really remember but she said, going with the trip sucked and she would rather go with us. Free and easy. I helped her to check tickets online, it costs only S$136? For return trip, Jetstar but in the end, she said she can't make it since she has to drive my brother for interview on Tuesday.

I could really see that she was itched to go buttttttt she can't make it and she asked me to go Cambodia with her and her friend in July. HEHE, see how thing goes. Hopefully, after Taiwan in June, then Cambodia in July and BKK in August! LOL, Cambodia and BKK trips are with parents & their friends though.

& so, no idea what I did yesterday, caught Running Man and a few episodes of Nikita before browsing through a few attractions in Phuket and fell asleep at 2am. Thennnn, all these just summed up my week until today!

CAN'T WAIT FOR PHUKETTTTTTTT!
