Origami.
Was actually.. folding it for fun.
Clearing out the mess I've left on my table...
Throwing away what's useless and I came across the leaflet which is of nothing important. Scissors found on the table, tried cutting the paper into square size and was challenging myself if I could still remember how to fold an origami... bird? Guess what? I did it in just one try, following my intuition of which step is gonna be next. Yes, I am really kinda amazed by myself but if you were to ask me how to fold a paper ball, hmm... I doubt I remember the steps 'cos in my memory, it needs to be folded a lot of times and there's one part where you need to stuff the paper into the pockets after folding it and stuffs like that... Oh yes, that picture was taken using Instagram and I've signed up for it long time ago but didn't really try the app at all. So... It was the first time I've actually took a photo using it and some of the photos that my friends took on Instagram look really awesome!
Ohkay, 'nuff said of boring stuffs...
Let me rewind back to Monday and shall do a little write-up on how did I survive the week. Let's see...
On Monday,
DUH, there was school but it was in the afternoon at 330pm. I don't really have Monday blues since it would start really late for me and it's always law lecture which I've always loved to attend. Some cases were really interesting and I really gain a lot on Commercial Law after attending the lectures. Hmm, I think I had dinner in school before heading home to rush for my MAB project on the individual part. MAB is a crap module, like... I've already taken Introduction to Accounting last semester and now, we have to complete another type of accounting again. This time round, it's cost accounting and I really don't see the reason why we must register for it unless they want Marketing students to be an all-rounder just like studying Integrated Events and Project Management back in SP. We had to cover almost every single module back then, construction, safety & health management, economics, law, F&B, audio-visual system, electronic-related module and etc... I guess, it's because we have to set-up the event which requires us to know everything but then again... Basic accounting is understandable but another accounting module again!!!
Alright, probably most of us just hate MAB.
& think that it's a waste of time. Majority of the students would attend the lecture but more than half would be downed in their own world, either talking to their friends or doing with their own stuffs. No one actually gives a damn about the lecture, seriously. I'm sure that most of the students have no idea what the lecturer has been talking about and we are ending our semester next week already. Great job, there. Now I'm screwed for MAB paper in the late April. Great...
So, it was Tuesday.
I could hardly recall what I did but it was the most brain-fried Tuesday ever for this semester. Over-loading of figures in my brain due to Statistics. Bernard was still trying to start on a few slides for the next topic, this was when I nearly gonna kill someone. Just... Anyone. Too much of information to be digested and we had to start on a new topic again!!! Feel me?
Wednesday.
It was a... Good day despite lesson was at 830am. No kidding and I only had 5hours of sleep that night. A few of us thought we would be late and planned to be late since it was MAB lecture and guess what? All of us were early, I got to school at 8am despite waking up late, strolling away at customs and I got to school early. Damn it... Anyhow, LOL it was the day of MAB report submission and this was the first time I had seen a class with almost half of the theater emptied. Probably 'cos everyone was rushing the project the night before or some just couldn't be bothered. Oh well, I slept in the class during the break but overslept for 25mins after the class resumed.
Did I say, I actually like morning lectures?
It's like after that lecture, we would have the whole day for ourselves, to do whatever you want. Classes at 12pm and 330pm totally suck away our time. You can't do much after school and it just... sucks. SOOOOO, we ended at 1130am and I met up with Shini.
Mint Museum of Toys.
We finally found ourselves there after planning to go there 2 weeks ago. She bought the voucher from Groupon or deal.com.sg which was like, buy 1 get 1 free kinda promotion. Entry fee is at $15.00/adult and thanks to the voucher, we get to enter it at $15 for both. Hmm, it's nothing much in there. A smaller scale of normal museums and they just display all those really old toys from the past and stuffs like that. The museum is in such a hideous location that we had a hard time finding it. If not for the guy who signaled to us and told us that the museum is there, we would have just ignorantly walked past, AGAIN.
Thanks to me, and the app.
We took panoramic pictures with the posters on the wall as our cover photo on Facebook and I almost died asking Shini to capture a few for me. She just didn't know how to function the easy and idiot-proof app and kept having half of my body gone. Nonetheless, with her perseverance and my leadership quality skills (NOT, I was just telling her that I was gonna rip my heart out and die there), she finally took a few acceptable photos of me with the posters in a panoramic view. Wanna see the pictures?
Here they are!
Obviously, I took a better photo, right?
I made her look so slim in it, slimmer than me, by a lot.
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
So, after Mint Museum...
We headed to Haji lane 'cos I wanna finish my lomo film and get it to be developed. HAHA, no idea how are the photos gonna look like since it was just the second time I brought it out to play with it. Hopefully, most of it would be good since... The previous batch of photos, majority of it was off the viewfinder screen, it's like being cut off. LOL, it's just so hard to gauge, there's ain't any frame for you to determine whether has the picture being cut-off or what. I do really hope... Not all, but most of it will turn out well.
Early, really early dinner at Mos Burger.
In Bugis Junction before walking to Queens Street bus terminal and took 170 for an hour plus journey back to custom! I swear I was goddamned lethargic for surviving on just 5hours of sleep and Shini had to keep talking to me during the bus ride. It's all about food by the way. What KE AI JI and the hawker at Newton Circus and what's not. LOLOL I told her that she had a lot to say and BAM! I fell asleep instantly after that until Kranji. Oh, she did sleep too and putting on her weight on me... MEH.
Finally, back home.
She came over to crash since our lectures were on the same time the next day and she told me during the night, while I was asleep... I rolled on the bed as though I was a carefree girl rolling on a patch of green grass. HAHAHAHAHAHA, I didn't know but I remember kicking her butt (which something she didn't have any impression on). The point is... I would have the whole bed to myself and I sleep DIAGONALLY when no one is sharing it with me so... Probably that explains why I rolled to her side, and which she claimed, it was really sticking to her. HAHAHA.
One day down, so it was Thursday!
It was law lecture, again! Lecturer was in suit, so we all thought he just came back from court but actually, he wore the suit to hide the waist brace he had to wear 'cos of some problem with his back or something. As usual, law was really interesting. People could claim for Non-pecuniary Losses if they signed up for some activities or vacations which the contract of these are to provide them with pleasure, relaxation and piece of mind. If they fail to do so, they are ought to pay for the damages to the client or plaintiffs. SO COOL, right! Like I said, law is really interesting.
Next, TGIF.
Wooo, it was finally Friday! I attended marketing lecture and it was boring as hell. Seriously, it's kinda an redundant lecture, everyone was talking so loudly and Pat could just continue teaching. During the break, supposed to continue with the lecture, I decided to head home instead. Smooth traffic when you leave school at 2pm. Need not have to fight with the crowd and people who are gonna go back to Malaysia on a Friday. It feels great man, got home early with my stuffs arrived. I've got my Paul Frank home button stickers, my dust protectors and also, 3 pieces of clothes from Jibapan which I only liked 1 out of 3. Sigh, sort of... Kinda... Wasted... My... Money... Oh well...
Yes, today is SATURDAY!
I woke up only at 1pm, to recoup all my losses on sleep. Weekend is always the best, one could just sleep in without any worries and guess what? I've been watching shows rather than doing my marketing project. I shall... Do it at night... After my dinner.......... So much of procrastination but this semester, a lot of us just don't have the drive to do anything man. Previously, we would rush the project and it was all worth it since we attained a distinction for it but now... Sigh, no idea what's wrong with us. Totally no sense of urgency out there. Double MEH.
Anyhow, my birthday party is gonna commence...
NEXT SATURDAY. HAHA, actually not really very looking forward to it since it would be awkward moment again. You know what am I talking about. The awkward moment during the cake-cutting session and would like to thank people who made the effort to confirm their attendance, via Facebook or text messages, at least... They made the effort to go through the event details. 'Nuff said.
Alrighttttttt,
I shall now... Immerse myself into... More shows...
TTFN!
XOXO,
NJ
