Hello.
Neglecting my blog since 4th of August, I am finally back!
I shall cook up something for this post.
Yet, it is kinda cracking my brain for it. For the past 3 months, various events occurred. After coming back from Taiwan, there was the Navy's Commissioning Ball, then a few weeks of school, my mom sort of psycho-ed me to go BKK with them and ended up, I had to skip a day of school for it. Next, it was the... Police OCT social night or something like that. Hmm... These were the highlights for these 3 months, I guess? Other than that, it was all about school, 4 projects, online quizzes, class test, and then, exams during end of October, just ended it last Tuesday. OH, there was SIKE! SPA yearly sea kayaking expedition. ^^
Bangkok Trip.
It was a 5D4N trip if my memory didn't fail on me. Undoubtedly, BKK is really a shopping paradise, clothes and shoes are all selling at ultimate low prices, probably 3 - 4 times lower than those marked up priced online blogshop clothing. Remember to catch your jaws when you learn about the price for various clothing in BKK. Anyhow, it was a golfing trip for my dad & his friends but their spouses all tagged along as well. I didn't really wanna go, really... Thinking that I had to skip school, just kinda killed the mood of going but in the end I went, because my mom didn't wanna forfeit the trip just to send/pick me up from custom.
Right, this explains why a 5D4N trip, and the things I bought for myself are countable with 10 fingers. My friends were scolding me for buying so few but there wasn't any feel to even shop! We had the same international buffet breakfast every morning, it got boring as days passed & finally, it was time for me to depart from BKK, alone. Supposedly, I had school on Wednesday afternoon at 1530hrs so they booked my ticket in the morning for me to get back and attend lesson.
Guess what? Just one day before the take-off, the school messaged us about the postpone of Wednesday lecture... Bloody school made me gotta wake up early for a flight alone, parents and the rest were only coming back in the evening. Damn ittttt, but thanks Shini & Zaroq for coming down to the airport & accompany me!! :D
Police OCT Social Night.
Zaroq got me to be his date for the night & the event was held at Grand Copthrone Waterfront Hotel, that's the full name I suppose. Anyhow, Zaroq booked a room there so we all could put our stuffs there and spent a night without having me to rush back to Malaysia after the event. Sadly to say, the event didn't go quite smoothly but... Shini bought back duck pizza from Timbre & we had it in the hotel room! Super yumz, please. A little camwhoring, since it was rare for me to be in dress, heels, & make-up on. Oh, & I had not been to Zouk before but I was really surprised that Zouk & Phuture are just right beside the hotel. Literally, beside it. All the while, I thought, we would still gotta walk for a good 10 minutes or so but... It is not.
Anyway, I had to get the mobile phone from my bud, to help him to charge & that was how I ended up standing outside Zouk, accompanied him to queue. No, I did not club at all. Oh yes, such a coincidence, I saw my big brother. HAHA, I thought he didn't see me so somehow I just acted blur and turned to another direction but he texted me, telling me he saw me and asked if I were going clubbing. In the end, he said if next time I wanna club, inform him beforehand so he could bring me along, without having to spend money but hahaha, clubbing is ain't my thing. Alright, after bud came & retrieved his phone, 3 of us zonked out and that was how the night ended.
YESSSS, after social night, I had to wake up early for school. We had make-up lecture on a bloody Saturday. Damn it... Gotta bring all my barang-barang back to school & I took a cab. It was drizzling and the bus frequency sucked big time on a Saturday. After missing the complimentary breakfast at the hotel, Shini & I headed to Great World City for Mcdonald's breakfast. Blah blah, time was running out, bus frequency sucked, it was drizzling, hence, I resorted to cabbing back to school and I was early in the end.
K, now it was all about school.
Endless reports deadlines to be met, quizzes to be done, class test to be tackled. This period of time, you had to coop yourself in your room & start to practice your typing, squeezing out brain juice for reports writing. It was no joke to have 4 projects due one after another, #lifeofamarketingstudent. Oh well, it was all cleared and submitted promptly, results for all reports are all high credit.
SIKE.
It stands for Southern Island Kayaking Expedition!
As usual, my face was badly-burnt by the sun but it didn't peel in an ugly state. At least, I could scrub it off cleanly after 2 days, I still looked presentable, just a little more tanned. Now, my tan is fading which isn't something I like but then, the weather now forbids me to get more vitamin D from the sun. Oh, but I don't wish to contract with Melanoma either, some skin disease which caused by long hours of spending under the sun, it is cancerous I think, if treatment is delayed.
SIKE this year was just.. A little different from the past few years? New alumni entering, old alumni retiring... It's okie though, alumni who came this year, were as fun as usual since we had Cynthia, Ang, Kunhun, & Joel with us. They made good entertainment, & a few alumni who I only met them just this year from the trip but I wish, more older alumni would come too 'cos it would be even funner!
Overall, the trip was an okay, nothing much differed from the past few years. Jetty jump, powerboating, kayaking, chilling, & this year, they brought fishing rods for fishing too! Nah, we didn't eat the fishes, they were caught and released 'cos I hear that... If you eat the fishes you caught, mishap could happened which happened to one of the batches and so... Now, they would just fish for fun.
& that pretty much summed up the whole SIKE.
Few weeks later...
It was exams period already. My papers were all jam packed. IMC on a Thursday, SQ, & AMCA on subsequent Monday & Tuesday, then MR on Friday. Totally, was so afraid to flunk AMCA but it was one of the most manageable paper... Now, I'm praying to all gods for me to pass my IMC. Blame it all on my gastritis. Sigh, my gastric hurt like bitches during exams period. No vomiting induced, which was slightly different from my previous gastric cases. This time round, my gastritis lasted me for a whole good 1 week before the pain started to subside & I had to take 3 types of antibiotics for a week 'cos I might be infected with... H.Py... Something. It's like, your gastric is being attacked by virus and gotta be treated with at least 1 week of medication which consists of 3 antibiotics 'cos 1 type isn't enough to fight the virus. I just completed the course on Tuesday night. Finally, free from pills!
Okie, in between my study break..
I attended SP Poly 50 for SPA Alumni Team. It's been awhile since I last trained for sprinting and apparently, I feel that my speed is now slower than the time I was back in SP as a student... Or maybe, just maybe, different category for the race, no other team to compete with during training, made me a little... Slack during the sprints? The full potential is just isn't there but on Tuesday night, there were teams training as well & you could then sort of challenge with them, & that was the only training, I sort of ran a little faster than last few trainings. Egoistic got me, if I know I could run fast & able to catch up with other group... So, why not, right?
Besides Poly 50 trainings, we had Nike, We Run 10k race!
HAHA, yes, it was yet another long distance race & I stopped running for almost close to a month before the race. Clearly enough, without much training, I was only managed to clock a 1hr, 8mins for that 10k. It sucked, big time. Oh well, I could only blame myself for not training for it but hey, at least I didn't stop running till the end & completed the race. ;)
Then, it was back to exams...
Besides IMC (which many claimed that it was kinda... tough?), the rest of the papers were all manageable & I was the first musketeer to complete my exams. The other 2 musketeers, Shini, ended one day later than me, and Cynthia, only gonna end her paper tomorrow at 1215pm, sucks to be her but it's gonna be her last final paper FOR GOOD. She's graduating!! :D
A call for celebration.
We are meeting up tomorrow after her paper, gonna head over to Novena for Poly 50 running tees, then K session at Ang's office (they have KTV room for their R&R, only $5/hr), he helped us to book from 3pm - 7pm, hopefully, we would still be left w some voices. Then, the night we would be heading to Timbre! :D What an eventful day it's gonna be, can't wait for it man.
End of November...
Bitch & I are gonna head over to Vietnam for holidays! We are gonna cover whole of Vietnam, I think. According to the bitch & it's gonna get cold over there at Hanoi. Nah, we're not gonna trek there like how Ang, Cynthia & some other alumni did. Mount Fansipan... Rest assured, we will conquer you one day! WOO, I hope it's gonna be fun! Life is not only about surviving... You gotta live it!
& I wonder..
If anyone would finish reading up my lengthy post?
No pictures, just words. Too lazy to upload photos, you can view them on my Facebook or Instagram anyway... HA.
Goodnight, peeps!
